Lily ZhangBraff is an Impressionistic oil painter with an aptitude for landscapes, portraiture and plein air. She studied with Chinese Master Chor Choi Foo, also took classes at the Art Students League in N.Y.C. In 2010 , she attended a classical painting technique program at Grand Central Academy of Art in N.Y. C. She took workshops with the contemporary master painters Jove Wang and Scott Christensen. Lily’s art has been influenced by Russian- American painter, Nicolai Fechin. And her artwork features an expressive use of color and evocative lively brushstrokes.
Lily has been juried into numerous regional , national and international exhibitions, such as the American Impressionist Society(AIS), Oil Painters of America, the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society(NOAPS), and Salmagundi Club. Her paintings have received many awards ( refer to page Honor and awards. ) and have been purchased by private collectors,
